EasyChair Submission Instructions

The submission deadline for all proposals is January 14, 2013. Proposals should be submitted via EasyChair. To submit your manuscript, please follow the instructions below (which are also available as a PDF):

First prepare your manuscript. The submission should be in the PDF format (file extension .pdf). No other format is accepted by the EasyChair system. Please follow the Manuscript Preparation Instructions found here.

Then follow these steps:

1. Log on the system.

If you are a PC member, please select author as your role.

2. Then select “New Submission.” To see a screenshot, please click here.

3.Complete all the information requested: author, title, keywords and cut & paste your 50-word mini abstract (this is not the extended abstract) in the abstract box (see screenshot below).

In front of your title proper, please indicate one of the options by typing one of these words: Paper, Poster, and Alternative Event, e.g., “Paper: Information-Seeking in the Local Context”, or “Poster: Information-Seeking in the Local Context”.

Make sure to add at least 3 keywords to the keywords box.

Finally, upload your PDF file (Paper, Poster, or Alternative Event) and press “Submit”. Make sure not to check the “Abstract Only” check box. To see a screenshot, please click here.

4. Before you log out, you will be asked if you would like to change any information about your paper or withdraw it, and you will be prompted to use links in the upper right corner. To see a screenshot, please click here.

5. You should also receive a confirmation email.
